I got one Ask The Maker Tutorial posted. The text one is almost done and should be up by next week. And the yellow/greens one should be hopefully done soon too. In any case, I plan to get them up before the year ends. I SWEAR, I REALLY DO.

I was feelings really uninspired at first with the iconquest challenge at first. I mean, whatever I tried, it all felt like a steaming pile of shit. Turned out all I needed to do was step away for awhile. I feel pretty pleased with what I have now. And I'm especially proud that I wrangled some text icons that I like. ARIAL BLACK FTW. ( I only noticed the mistake in the Annie icon now. BOO ;_;)
Cutting out backgrounds is fun now that I discovered how to do it. I think I will now beat this technique into the ground by overusing it.
For the iconquest challenge, the reason I chose Community was because : a) I LOVE THE SHOW. Any reason to icon is welcome. b) Every episode in Community is an Adventure. And because I'm nothing but literal, I picked Advanced Dungeons and Dragons to icon as well as Remedial Chaos Theory.
I will shut up now.

I intially wanted to post a batch of hundred but yeah, at the rate at which I work in PSP, that was not going to be possible by the year end. So instead, you have a batch of 70, even and nice. :D This batch, I started trying to use textures. Some places I felt like they worked fantastic, some places, they made me want to texture my own face. -.- Anyhow, never mind that. This batch, I also realised that I tend to work on close crops. More on a person than a situation or scene. ...I need to fix that. :( Which will be explored in my next batch.

AAALSO, this batch has a lot of black and white and monochromes. Why you ask? Well, actually because b&w is my go to resort when I can't work with a cap. Monochromatic colours are because sometimes even b&w caps need something zuzh them up. Starkness and shades of gray apparently aren't enough nowadays.

Also, since my last post, the comm has 4 new watchers! AAAAACCCKKKKKK! That makes me flaily with delight cause, lol, I never thought y'know the watchers would increase beyond 5, myself included. Anyways, yes, this is VERY thrilling for me. Thank you guys! :D

Firstly, I think most of this batch was done for various icontests, for the

ic0nfest and such like. It would explain why there are a lot of fandoms which I dont usually do cause I dont even watch. Also, I decided to try out different colouring techniques this time. Mostly the abuse of greens and yellows that is. And some of the results, I like. Some others, no so much.

Also, I thought my 20in20 claim was due today and I broke my brains trying to finish it. And some of the icons were a bitch to finish. I was legit splitting hairs over them. Especially, crossover, association and pointless. While I somehow liked crossover and association, pointless I don not like. Actually, I dont like my interpretative themes. I don't think I did such a good job with them. :(

Two things :

1) This post has a buttload of variations. That is what happens when you have no internet and want to icon. You make use of already made icons and try to jazz them up like crazy.
2 ) There is also a lot of black and white in this post. Is it cause I have b&w mentality? That is besides the point. I just figured out a lovely way to get black done in PSP X and I went ahead and had a ball with it. At least in my perspective, it was lovely when I was making them.
